I do prefer to carry a smaller bag ~ with a tote addition for work days: lunch, snacks, water bottle, etc. ~ and although the Mini cb is fabulous, once the Raindrop arrived I was smitten! It might look small but it fits quite a lot, and my suggestion is to take off the crossbody strap and wear it on your elbow, and feel fabulous!

I wasn't all that interested in Raindrop until I saw it in Deep Water. It's the perfect match of color and style. (It shows a bit brighter in the sunlight; the actual color is a bit darker.) The size is also just right for me, and I was especially pleased to find that my Canvas Organizer fits.

I love my Sunflower Small Raindrop! Perfect, fun little size to hold my essentials for a night out. I won’t use it for my everyday bag since it wouldn’t hold all my items, but it’s a fun option for when I want to “go light!”

Love the grain of the lever
I love my new small raindrop Crossbody in Chestnut! It’s lightweight and compact, but has plenty of room for everything. Because I got the classic with just the snap, I actually clip in my wallet so it can’t fall out if the purse tips over. I really like how I can grab the handle easily, but still have the convenience of a hands free Crossbody. For an evening out, just unhook the long strap and I have a really cute purse.
I paired it with the cognac jumbo tassel and love how it complements. This is my third Portland leather purse. Great quality, always stylish.
I purchased the Small Raindrop for carrying a notebook and reference material. The measurements online gave the perfect indication for how I wanted to use it. Alternately, I will use it as a small hand carry purse for specific outings where I don't need to be prepared for everything, just a fun time out! The style draws attention and the Tuscany color bring smiles. I can only imagine what it will feel like when the leather is more supple with use. Thank you PLC for an excellent handbag.
Rainstorm is quickly becoming my new favorite bag. I have it in 4 colors now for occasions when I want a little dressier bag than my mini tote.
I have been a mini tote girl but when you need a bit more of a dress up the large raindrop is it!!
